PUBG Mobile has introduced a new anti-fraud procedure that prevents users from taking unfair advantage of Spectate mode. The developers report that players were able to take advantage of Spectate mode using two devices to locate enemy players within the game and gain an unfair advantage. Now, with the new anti-cheat app, only what is visible to the active player will be visible to the viewer, preventing the viewer from locating enemies. In addition, the developers also announced that the counterfeiting issue had been resolved "in one go".
PUBG Mobile implemented a new peer-to-peer review mechanism that will determine in real time whether a particular player is visible in the game host's view and then decide whether to transfer this data to the viewer or not. Website developers explain that the Spectating system consists of three factors, the host, the game server, and the viewer. It was observed that cheats could use two devices to locate the enemy.
"The cheat user will use two mobile phones. The host will play the game normally and have the viewer use the X-ray view plugin to cheat." Now, the real-time game server will determine if the player is really visible in the host view. Otherwise, the location data of other players will not be passed on to viewers.

The developers add that PUBG Mobile cheats will not be able to modify game data because this new mechanism monitors data in real time. This "severely guarantees the security and reliability of the proposal," the publication said.
Additionally, PUBG Mobile developers also announced through a press release that persistent fraud that kills players with a single shot and flips their screen has been fixed. The team stated that those caught cheating would show no restraint and the cheats would issue a 10-year ban on the party.
This new mechanism is part of the "Project: Ban Pan" campaign that was launched last year.
